South-West News and Springfield News are the local papers circulating every Wednesday. South-West News was established in 1982, while in 2005 Springfield News began due to the growing population in the district. Combined, these publications employ a team of professional local journalists and photographers with a strong commitment to credible local news coverage.

South-West News and Springfield News are strong contenders in the Business Achiever Awards program with voting numbers increasing significantly per year.

Event Information

Tickets for the South-West News/ Springfield News will be on sale Monday 3 October for 4 weeks only. Deadline for ticket sales is Monday 7 November. We recommend you get in quick as this event sells out.*

In 2011 the gala dinner will be held on Friday 25 November.

Starting at 6:45pm guests will enjoy 30 minutes of pre-dinner drinks and mingling with fellow business owners. The show will see Hot Sauce opening proceedings followed with Tony Johnston and Miranda Deakin as your Masters of Ceremony for the evening.

Sitting down to a two course dinner and petite dessert with plenty of giveaways throughout the night, Hot Sauce will perform during dinner with their exclusive Business Achievers show ‘Ladies of Rock’.
